Selected Answer: B
i also thought that B (3) is the answer, but reference to CHATGPT. C(4) should be the correct answer: Explanation: RF2 (Replication Factor 2) requires two copies of data on two different nodes. To safely remove a host, the system must have enough nodes to redistribute data and maintain RF2. With 3 nodes, removing one host reduces the cluster to 2 nodes — which is the minimum required just to keep RF2, but not to remove any more hosts or handle failures. Therefore, 4 nodes are needed: 3 to maintain RF2 after one is removed, and 1 for removal.

C is the right on. The Remove Host link on the right of the Summary line does not appear for the removal of a host from a three-node cluster, as stated here: https://portal.nutanix.com/page/documents/details?targetId=Web-Console-Guide-Prism-v6_10:wc-cluster-modify-removing-node-wc-t.html

You are correct in your statement but, Nutanix don't permit to remove 1 node in a cluster of 3-nodes, because if you "have the availability to remove the node you will have a 2-node cluster and it's not possible without an witness-vm. The only way to have two-node cluster if you "destroy the cluster or do a fresh-installation.
