The agent VM setting in Nutanix AHV targets a VM as the first VM to turn on, the last VM to turn off, and ineligible for live migration.

Agent VMs are designated system-critical virtual machines that are given priority during host power-on or recovery operations.
When a host boots up, Agent VMs are started first, before other user VMs, to ensure essential services (like domain controllers, DNS, or management services) are available early.
High Availability: Ensures VMs restart on another host if a failure occurs, but doesn’t manage boot order during host startup.
