wait what ? answer is B whole database and archivelogs are backed up and archivelogs are deleted as "delete input" is specified.

sorry It's C - When you back up individual PDBs, the archived redo logs are not backed up.

I agree on this. B is the answer. RMAN is connected to the target pluggable database pdb2_1, so it will backup anything belonging to this pluggable DB.

When you connect to a PDB as a local user with SYSDBA or SYSBACKUP privilege, you cannot back up or delete archived redo logs."
