Extract from : https://docs.oracle.com/en/solutions/deploy-ebusiness-suite-oci/index.html#GUID-85F909BC-B533-44DA-9118-F05CDE29A281 Application tier: This tier contains more than one instance of an Oracle E-Business Suite application to provide high availability. Set up multiple instances of an application in separate fault domain to ensure that you can continue accessing the application even if an application instance goes down. Oracle recommends deploying the Oracle E-Business Suite multitier setup with shared application binaries. Use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure File Storage to create a shared file system to share Oracle E-Business Suite application binaries. Database tier: This tier contains Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database instances. For high availability requirements, Oracle recommends using a 2-node Virtual Machine (VM) DB system or Exadata DB System.

Correct answer should CDE because your needs File Storage service for the shared file systems, VM or Bare Metal compute instances for the applicatiion-tier and VM or Bare Metal DB systems for the database. BCE doesn't allow deploying application servers for E-Business Suite.

I would say B,C and D "Virtual Machine (VM) or Bare Metal (BM) compute instances" As they need to migrate the whole eBS (application and Database) so They need a VM for the Application, which won't be available for DB systems. Would you please correct me?

there is no way an Oracel eBiz suite will not have Compute servers, so D is needed for sure. Object storage is a good-to-have only, not necessary something that an legacy app can fully leverage.

I think it has to be C, D, & E. EBS will require servers for the application tier, servers for the database tier and storage for the files. The link referenced talks about Object storage for database backups

OCI refers to the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which has Virtual and Bare Metal DB Systems https://docs.cloud.oracle.com/en-us/iaas/Content/Database/Concepts/overview.htm
