When you try to access zoom.us, your machine needs to resolve this domain name to an IP address. If split tunneling is working correctly for zoom.us, this DNS resolution should ideally happen via the DNS server provided by the VPN tunnel. This ensures that the subsequent traffic to the resolved IP address is also routed through the tunnel.
