Selected Answer: CF
C and F: True D: False. The purpose of a follow-up audit is to verify whether nonconformities have been effectively resolved. If a major nonconformity is confirmed to have been effectively addressed during a follow-up audit, it will be closed out (or considered resolved), rather than being downgraded to a minor nonconformity. A minor nonconformity indicates that there is still some partial non-conformance with the standard, whereas once a major nonconformity is resolved, the issue no longer exists.
