The project manager receives a call from the technical resource manager that one of the developers must take leave for the next 4 weeks, with no temporary replacement available. D. I thought about B but "prepare for escalation" seems to be the wrong answer and informing the customer before evaluating the impact shouldn't be done.

I would go with D though it doesn't seem right to readjust the schedule as it is normally fixed on Agile projects. I would have gone with B but the PM cannot inform the customer of the impact immediately. First, the impact needs to be worked out.
