Why the other options are less appropriate: A. Add the issue to the project issue log: This is reactive and passive. While logging the issue is important, it doesn’t help resolve the uncertainty or move the team forward. B. Add the risk to the risk register: This is a valid action, but not the next best step. Identifying it as a risk is important, but alone won’t help the team generate solutions. D. Meet with the project sponsor: This could be useful later, but the problem is lack of clear solutions—not necessarily lack of sponsor direction.
