Selected Answer: D
In response to the country manager's suggestion to use a social media platform for expediting communications, the regional program manager should: D. Ask the technology, security, and project teams to assess the country manager's request. This approach involves a comprehensive assessment of the proposed social media platform's capabilities, security implications, and suitability for the program's communication needs. By involving the technology, security, and project teams, the regional program manager ensures that all technical, security, and operational aspects are considered. This is important for making an informed decision about adopting a new communication tool, especially one that could have wide-reaching implications for the program's communication strategy.

Selected Answer: D
D. Ask the technology, security, and project teams to assess the country manager's request. This approach ensures that the new tool is evaluated for its technical feasibility, security implications, and alignment with the project's communication needs. Involving the technology team helps in understanding the platform’s integration capabilities with existing systems, the security team assesses any data privacy and security concerns, and the project team evaluates its practicality and effectiveness in meeting the project's communication requirements. This comprehensive assessment is critical in making an informed decision about adopting a new communication tool, especially in a corporate environment where data security and integration with existing systems are key considerations.

I still think D is the right answer. A regional program manager to start reviewing in house social capabilities could be a distraction, plus may not make the best decision. It should be left to corporate technology, security teams to review and advise on fitment.
