It may be that the senior team members are not fully aware of the new team member's capabilities or that they have a different perspective on the project. The project manager should work to find a way to integrate the junior team member's ideas and suggestions into the project in a way that is acceptable to all team members. Removing the junior team member without addressing the underlying issues would be a disservice to the team and the project.
