Selected Answer: A
Engaging with the staff responsible for the compliance issues allows the project manager to understand the details, evaluate the feasibility of the suggestions, and work collaboratively on addressing the compliance gaps. This approach involves taking proactive steps to resolve the issues and improve compliance rather than merely logging them in a register. It demonstrates a commitment to addressing concerns and finding practical solutions.

Option A is correct. The question did not state anything as to whether the discussion is about a project. It could be a general conversation hence why the project manager deferred to the compliance staff.

Selected Answer: A
When a stakeholder identifies compliance-related gaps and issues and provides suggestions, it's essential for the project manager to act quickly and ensure those gaps are addressed. Compliance issues often come with legal or regulatory implications, and addressing them should be a priority. Here's a breakdown of the options: A. Discuss the suggestions with the staff responsible for the compliance issues. This approach involves directly addressing the identified gaps with the people responsible for the areas of concern. This is a proactive step and is essential to rectifying the situation.

Why not D? Shouldn't the first step be to identify coaching and mentoring opportunities and discuss the issue with the staff? Thoughts?

First step will be to discuss the issue with staff responsible for compliance and then log in the Lessons learned register.

Why not C? Lessons learned are also always discussed. Is it because this takes to long and the project may still be ongoing?

Not C because it needs to be discussed first with the team and then after resolution/sprint4 it can be recorded in the lessons learned.
