Selected Answer: C
The Closing a Project process in PRINCE2 serves several key purposes, and both statements align with those: "The Closing a Project process provides a fixed point for the receipt of completed Work Packages for the work performed in the final stage." -> This is true. The final stage includes the delivery of the last set of products, and Closing a Project ensures that all Work Packages are completed and accepted. "The Closing a Project process provides a fixed point to review if the objectives set out in the original Project Initiation Documentation have been achieved." -> Also true. One of the main objectives of this process is to confirm that the project has delivered what was agreed, and to assess whether the project objectives and benefits have been met.

I think B is the correct answer here. The Purpose of the Closing a Project process does not mention work packages, nor does it mention the final stage (final management stage): Reference 20.1 The purpose of the closing a project process is to provide a fixed point at which acceptance of the project's product is confirmed, and to recognize that objectives set out in the original PID have been achieved (or approved changes to the objectives have been achieved), or that the project has nothing more to contribute. The mentioning of work packages and "final stage" indicate that answer 1 is not correct, thus I think B is the correct option here.

Selected Answer: B
The purpose of the process of closing a project is to provide a fixed point at which acceptance of the project product is confirmed not a work package (a sequence of activities). It also provides a point to recognize that the objectives or the approved changes to the objectives, as established in the project initiation documentation, have been achieved.

ITs B, not C. Closing a project is after controlling a stage and managing a stage boundary of the final stage, so its after the process where work packages are used. Martin77 is right.

C is correct the purpose of CP is: • To provide a fixed point at which acceptance for the project product is confirmed • To recognize that objectives set out in the original project initiation documentation have been achieved, • To recognize that any approved changes to these objectives have been achieved, • To recognize that the project has nothing more to contribute
