Suggested Answer: BD 🗳️
When joining a Steelhead appliance to the Windows Domain, several prerequisites need to be configured to ensure smooth integration. The server-side Steelhead appliance must be able to successfully lookup its hostname in the DNS architecture.
Ensure proper DNS entries are created in the DNS server(s) (only an "A record" is required) and the proper DNS servers are configured in the Steelhead appliance.
The date and time of the server-side Steelhead appliance must be synchronized with the Windows Domain Controller. This is best accomplished by configuring the Steelhead to use the same NTP server as all the other servers in the domain. You must know the fully-qualified domain name.
