Rental Rates, Price Rules, Price Conditions, Lookup Queries, Price Actions 1) Need the custom object first 2) Then create the Price Rule where the custom object API name is populated in the "lookup object" 3) the price condition looks up to the price rule 4) lookup query > lookup field (populate with the api name of the field on the custom object) 5) price action - pushes the data from the custom object to the target object

This is not true, price rule refers only the rental rate object and NOT the query

The Price Rule needs to be loaded before the Lookup Query since the Lookup Query has a lookup field to the Price Rule.

It will not fail since the price rule record is uploaded first only to provide an id. It does not reference anything else as it is the parent record.
