Hand over documentation is done during training. The question says "has successfully deployed"
During a Salesforce implementation, documents are handed over during the following phases:
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
After testing is complete, the client signs off on the UAT document, indicating that the system is ready for deployment.
Admin training
The development team hands over documentation on the new system or feature to the person or team that will maintain it.
User training
The Business Analyst or Project Owner delivers training to the users of the system.
Train-the-Trainer
Super Users of the system are trained, and then they train their colleagues.
Some best practices for Salesforce documentation include: Document early and often, Create a metadata and/or data dictionary, Map processes and custom functionality, Use a document management system, and Regularly audit documentation.
