Universal Containers wants Field Technicians to capture customer authorization via a signature through Salesforce mobile app. What should a Consultant recommend?
A.
Create a Quick Action on the Service Appointment to launch a Visualforce signature page.
B.
Create an Approval Process from the Service Appointment for the customer's Authorization.
C.
Create a Checkbox on the Service Appointment that will capture the customer's Authorization.
D.
Create a custom text field to capture the customer's signature on Salesforce mobile app.
A - best option...
B - is long-winded and not optimal
C - is not secure. Anyone incl. the tech can check the box
D - a text field cannot store a signature
None of these answers are correct.
You would either capture the signature on a Service Report using the standard FS mob app functionality or: pg 331 of 'Complete Guide to Field Service' (SF guide), you create a Flow Service_Report_Flow which then launches the Service Report preview and then after the preview it can be signed by the Customer.
I don't understand this answer. FS supports the ability to capture a customer signature from mobile device. I'm assuming that gets saved in a custom field, but definitely not just limited to checkbox.
