Formular field not support External Object yet ... so ans is C

C is correct - Salesforce does NOT Allow creation of formula fields on External object. https://ideas.salesforce.com/s/idea/a0B8W00000GdfZwUAJ/allow-creation-of-formula-fields-on-external-object
