A and B Email action no longer works on Cases so you need to create a custom action button, which shows on the chatter feed. Additionally, JS is a high-risk button, disallowed in LEX.

I would say A and B. I thought email buttons that contain javascript were not visible in lightning. The page layout excludes the case feed component also seems more logical than the other answers.

I found out, that also you can add Email to feed: • 1) Enable the Email-to-case • 2) and when you do enable it, you will see that there are a new Email button that should also be added to "Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions" section of Case Layout.
