Lightning Experience Sharing on Lightning email templates is inherited from the folder it is in. Subfolders inherit sharing from the parent folder. Sharing a folder shares: All the templates in that folder All subfolders in that folder, along with their email templates Any new templates that are added to the folder in the future Lightning Email Template folders are supported in first-generation managed packaging only. Salesforce Classic Classic email templates can’t be saved to Lightning template folders and vice versa. Classic email templates maintain their own folders and folder sharing settings in Lightning Experience. Classic email templates and folders don’t show up on the Lightning email templates home. Changes to Classic template folders must be made in Setup.
