From the course: If a matching record is found in the Software Discovery Model table [cmdb_sam_sw_install], then the Software Installation table updates the software discovery model record. If a record is not found, a new record is created. Data is then passed to the Software [cmdb_ci_spkg] table to preserve backward compatibility.

Agreed! I noticed that each answer has "CMBD" as the prefix...could throw people off because "D." is the only correct Prefix, but that table does not exist.
