The Spherelet performs the following functions: • Communicates with the control plane VMs • Manages node configuration • Starts vSphere pods • Monitors vSphere pods on the other hand, Supervisor Cluster Control Plane The supervisor cluster deploys a set of three control plane VMs that provide API access to the supervisor cluster.
