Just my two cents: 1 - The VM is a powered on. 2 - The host that is in one vCenter Server will not be in the other. 3 - Storage vMotion only migrates data. technically the storage vmotion is the right answer because a shared nothing vmotion is just a traditional vmotion + a svmotion performed at the same time. Shared nothing vmotion is not a true name of the process in the vcenter client, but storage vmotion is the official name of the process. I know it's a technically
