I believe it's A as well. I use 1GbE adapters for vMotion in my lab and have never had an issue with migration. I can reproduce the error described in the link above by trying to migrate a VM that has CPU affinity configured.

The 6.7 documentation also states that using 1Gb adapters could cause vMotion not to work. While in the VMware docs nothing is mentioned about vMotion issues and CPU affinity.
