An architect is working with a customer to design a VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) solution that is required for a highly secure infrastructure project that must remain separated from all other virtual infrastructure. The customer has already purchased six high density vSAN ready nodes and there is no budget for additional nodes to be added for the expected lifespan of this use case.
Assuming capacity is sized correctly, which VCF architecture model and topology should the Architect recommend?

  • A. Multiple Instance - Single Availability Zone Standard architecture model
  • B. Single Instance - Multiple Availability Zone Standard architecture model

Selected Answer: D
I think it is D, because in a Single Instance - Single Availability Zone Standard architecture model we would need 8 nodes, 4 for the management domain and 4 for the VI Workload domain, as we only have 6 hosts in this case we would have to configure a Single instance consolidated architecture model
