Limitations of VRF Lite
VRF Lite is not compatible with the following services:
-VPN
-Load Balancer
Taken from NSX-T ICM 3.0 Lecture Manual.
Also from ICM: These limitations apply only to the VRF gateway. You can connect a Tier-1 gateway configured with a load balancer or a VPN to a VRF gateway and that is fully supported.
So VPN and LB are still compatible / supported with VRF lite, just not on the VRF gateway.
