D and E make more sense to me as well.
Update manager is not used for initial install of ESXi. And if it is, then i will need to wash my eyes with soap.
Auto Deploy is also actually a service in VCSA. But the point here is method to install ESXi on a host. 1. Interactive Mode, you interactice directly with the host for a fresh installation. 2. Auto Deploy. Deploy the hosts remotely with/without host profile.
Update manager can deploy an ESXI image BUT only if an existing image is on the bare metal. It can't do a fresh install. The only options availble are shown in the link below and therefore the only answer to this question is "D" & "E"
