✑ Synchronous replication to meet the zero-minute PRO
✑ Separating management workloads from application workloads
✑ Dedicated 10Gb uplink for each low latency server
✑ Single management point for the entire environment
Which two actions would meet the design requirements? (Choose two.)

  • A. Create two data center objects in vCenter Server.
  • B. Configure vSAN Stretched Clustering

A) no, as hosts need to be on the same cluster (and therefore logical datacenter) as per answer B B) Yes, Synchronous replication to meet the zero-minute RPO is achieved with vSAN Streched Cluster C) Yes, as each server need a dedicated uplink (although SR-IOV has several limitations like no vmotion/HA, but requirements are zero RPO and not zero RTO) D) No, folders don't separate workloads

There are multiple requirements actually and not all of them can be fulfilled with two statements. We need to go for the best suited ones and to me it looks like B and C does the work.

Agree with AB: "In vSphere, a virtual machine can use an SR-IOV virtual function for networking" This is not solving any requirement https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.networking.doc/GUID-CC021803-30EA-444D-BCBE-618E0D836B9F.html A: They requested a single point of manageability B: VSAN stretched Cluster offers zero RPO.

I was wrong. The correct answer is BC C: Enable SR-IOV implies I've dedicated a physical Network Card to my Latency Server VM. Which satisfies the request of dedicated 10GB Uplink for Latency Servers. A: WON'T work, because VSAN stretching clustering requires all ESXi within the same cluster.
