Question #: 58
Topic #: 1
[All 3V0-624 Questions]

A solution architect has been tasked with designing a new environment that meets the needs of a growing company, and has obtained this information.
✑ The current capacity will be exhausted in 180 days, and the new infrastructure must be deployed and in production prior to that.
✑ The new servers have a 90-day delivery time.
✑ A data center for disaster recovery has been selected, and it us 20 miles away and connected by MPLS.
✑ The security team will continue to utilize its current investments and VM Encryption for the new environment.
✑ The backup team currently uses Data Domain, and reports show an 8:1 compression and deduplication ratio for backups.
Based on the information obtained, which two statements are assumptions for the new design? (Choose two.)

  • A. MPLS will be used to connect the two data centers.
  • B. There is 180 days left of current capacity.
  • C. Data Domain will get an 8:1 compression and deduplication ratio with the new workloads.
  • D. A disaster will NOT affect both data centers.

C,D C is the assumption for New workload; D is the assumption for the DR solution

We can consider B as a constraint as it will be not more 180 days. But we can assume that we have 180 days, but it can be less. IMHO: BC. What do you say?

C and D As Datacenter has been selected and connected by MPLS sounds like this done Will run out of capacity is constrain or risk we can assume that disaster will not not happen and current compression ration can still be maintained

B & C is the answer. A is not the answer for this as specific detail is provided such as the DR site has been SELECTED, then specific detail such as 20 miles and then MPLS so thats not an assumption as there is a lot of detail there for that so believe B & C correct.

I agree with C & D. "B" is a constraint because we only have 180days before the capacity is exhausted. We have a deadline.

Not 100% sure, but agree with the solution provided. A) It doesn't say that the MPLS will be used for DR, just that the other site uses it. So, I'd assume and verify that. B) I'd say this is a risk, it could be exhausted earlier and ruin the project. C) There is no info about the future workload and how the Data Domain will respond to it, so we have to assume that. D) This is a risk, although it'd depend on where the sites are (e.g. it would be too little in California, potentially enough in UK)
