In a 2-node vSAN cluster, one node has recovered from failure with FTT=1 and RAID-1 storage policy. Refer to the exhibit: What is the total VMDK storage consumed?
RAID is performed at the object level (VMDK) not the node level. We don't know how much data the VM has consumed within the VMDK object (as space is thin provisioned(default), the 100GB is not guaranteed to be consumed). Based on the numbers provided though, RAID 1 mirroring will create two objects on two hosts (plus a witness object on the witness host). Total space used is 200GB (plus a few mb on the witness). D.
