✑ EtherChannel is not currently configured
✑ No changes can be made to the physical network
✑ Network throughput must be prioritized for defined critical services
Which two recommendations should the architect make with regard to virtual networking? (Choose two.)

  • A. Use Route Based on Physical NIC Load.
  • B. Use Network I/O Control with Shares.
  • C. Use Network I/O Control with Reservation.

A >> There is no priorization possible, it is only a load balancing regardless of the type of traffic B >> Yes, it if the purpose of the feature to prioritize services or VMs C >> Yes, it is the step beyond answer B. We reserve network throughput for critical services D >> It only aggregates the uplinks, and won’t prioritize anything. In addition, setting LACP needs configuration change on the physical switches E >> It will only allow to limit some services, and won’t really prioritize the critical ones

Not A - does not prioritize traffic for defined critical services. B - Configure defined critical service with higher share values C: Reserve bandwidth for defined critical services Not D - does not prioritize defined critical services Not E - does not prioritize defined critical services

A - Use Route Based on Physical NIC Load - offers similar performance as LACP without changes needed on the network B- NIOC using shares provides priorities for each traffic type

Based on Physical NIC Load does not prioritize network throughput. However, Network IO control does that, and guarantees a minimum of bandwidth through Share, Reservation and Limites. But using limits is not a best practice. On the other hand, LACP is discarded because requires made changes to the physical network.

I support A/B as well. IMO, D is disqualified because enabling LACP would entail making a modification of the physical switch ports, i.e physical network.
