Let's break this down A. supports ECMP - No. Equal Cost Multi Pathing is for North South routing and thus is a T0 gateway thing. B. owned and configured by the Tenant - Potentially? Who is to say you're working for a medium sized business and the operator and tenant are the same? This is just a bad question. T1 gateways are scoped towards this function which is why this is a "close" answer. C. always configured in active-standby mode - Yes, T1 gateways are always active/standby mode. D. owned and configured by Service Provider - Potentially... again, it's a bad question. "B" is closer than this answer so we should choose that over this. But it could be true there's T1 gateways that are owned and configured by the service provider! E. connects to physical networks - No, this is a T0 North/South thing. So.... we choose B and C, because "B" is close to being true. This is a poor question.

T-1 doesn't connect to physical network, it is for Virtual (E-W) Traffic only, and it does NOT support ECMP

B&C T1s are generally owned/configure by tenants for their internal networks T1s do not connect to a physical network (North-South). This is done via T0s
