That KB references AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AG) and Failover Cluster Instance so answer is A & E
The other things relate to High availability for VMware vCenter Server
My Answer would be A&E.
If you take a look at https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1024051 you will see that:
- vCenter Server Heartbeat (D) is not supported for 6.x
- NSX load balancer (C) is not there
- vCenter Server Watchdog aka monitoring (B) is supported for 6.0 and 6.5, but not for 6.7, and this is 6.7 test
B and E are correct.
According to the article: https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1024051
3.In vSphere 6.0, the vCenter Server Watchdog feature was introduced. vCenter Server Watchdog monitors and protects vCenter Server's VPXD providing better availability by periodically checking the vCenter Server processes (PID Watchdog) or the vCenter Server API (API Watchdog).
6. As of vSphere 6.0, VMware introduced support for using Windows Server Failover Clustering or Microsoft Server Failover Clustering to protect a Windows-based vCenter Server.
All other services were prior to 6.0 database.
It cannot be B and D. In vCenter Server 6.5, vCenter Server Watchdog is replaced by VMware Service Lifecycle Manager (vMon).
Third Party Solutions...
Note: This list is not all inclusive.
•Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 AlwaysOn Availability Groups (AG) for high availability and disaster recovery solution (Non-shared disk configuration)
•Microsoft SQL Server 2012/2014 AlwaysOn Failover Cluster Instance (FCI) for high availability, and Availability Groups (AG) for disaster recovery solution (Shared Disk Configuration).
•Microsoft SQL Server Database Mirroring
•Symantec Application HA for VMware

I think it is AE.
According to the KB https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1024051, vCenter Server Watchdog (vCenter Self-Monitoring Agent) was discontinued in 6.7. This is a 6.7 exam so it's not valid for availability any more. Also 6.x means all 6 versions (6.0,6.5,6.7).
As the question is about database availability, and it asks "can", third party solutions can be included. So for me answer is A and E.
As per the KB https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1024051:
High availability for VMware vCenter Server can be primarily implemented using one of these for vCenter Server 5.x and 6.x.
** vSphere High Availability (HA)
** vSphere Symmetric Multiprocessor Fault Tolerance (vSphere FT)
** vCenter Self-Monitoring Agent
** Windows Server Failover Cluster (WSFC) formerly Microsoft Cluster Services (MSCS)
** VMware vCenter Server Heartbeat
** vCenter High Availability (vCenter HA)
------------
vCenter Server Watchdog is not there !
then the answer should be D and E
D & E. vCenter Server Watchdog feature was introduced in v6.0. vCenter Server Watchdog monitors and protects vCenter Server's VPXD providing better availability by periodically checking the vCenter Server processes (PID Watchdog) or the vCenter Server API (API Watchdog).
The question is about "database availability" so A & E since both are related?
Looking at the table on provided on https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/1024051, vCenter Server Heartbeat applies supported only to ESXi version 4 &5
The more correct answers are BE because regarding option A reading the reference "Other, third-party solutions are available to protect VMware vCenter Server 5.x and 6.0 including, but not limited to these solutions. However, these solutions are not certified by VMware for use with vCenter Server to provide high availability. If problems are experienced when the third-party solution is used with vCenter Server, VMware offers best effort support for any issues encountered with an environment that uses third-party solutions for protecting against VMware VirtualCenter downtime. However, VMware reserves the right to not support the environment until a compatible solution is used. " Then this option shouldn't be used
