RDM will not be taken in a snapshot as it is physical, however if it was virtual it will be available for snapshot https://docs.vmware.com/en/VMware-vSphere/7.0/com.vmware.vsphere.storage.doc/GUID-0114693D-94BF-4D0E-9BA4-416D4A51A5A1.html
