If the VMware Cloud Builder VM uses the eth0 interface (default), you do not need to modify any of the network properties in Section I of the via.properties file. If the VMware Cloud Builder VM has multiple network interfaces and is not using eth0, you must update certain network properties. Property "via.network.interface" is used to specify the interface of the VMware Cloud Builder VM that is configured in the management network

Official course material mentions: If the VMware Cloud Builder VM uses the eth0 interface (default), you do not need to modify any of the network properties in Section I of the via.properties file. If the VMware Cloud Builder VM has multiple network interfaces and is not using eth0, you must update certain network properties.
