This has proven to be very helpful to me. I have one issue. Whenever some of the answers are proven to be wrong on the practice exams, why don't you go back in a correct them? This will help eliminate a lot of confusion.

Just as FYI, there is a PBQ you should know. I can't post pics, but you just need to know how to fix a corrupt boot. They will give you the option to go into the windows repair CMD. You just need to know the bootrec command and here is a tip : When you are in a command and you do not remember what the actual command is, just type -help or /? and it will pull up the command. So remember bootrec /fixmbr or bootrec /fixboot - depending on how the PBQ is worded.

I passed yesterday. I don't want anyone to go through what I had to deal. So most important thing is get PBQs and simulations ready first. they are simple. For PBQS/simulations, quickly watch Selena Demirci Comptia 1002, there are like 8 short videos. For Helpdesk ticket question, this is what every one is looking for. One question is where you get 2 helpdesk High/Low priority tickets. 1: high priority one , Recently installed printer not working and is offline. 2 attachments will be given. Answer: Issue - IP address incorrect Resolution - Release DHCP(I'm not sure for this option, the other option could be "Create DHCP reservation") Resolve/Verify - Ipconfig /renew 2: low priority ticket- Application installed Answer: ISsue- BSOD Resolution - Uninstalled application Resolve/Verify - Safe mode

Pass my CompTIA core 2 today with a 737. I had 4 PBQ, mines were the partitions of the drives, 2 help desk tickets, help desk support, and another one where you had 3 computers and had to drag and drop the info into a hostname, GOP, IP address, and alternate name. You could click on each of the computers and it would bring you to the command line. In the command line type help to get the commands and you can fill out the missing information. The commands were hostname, ipconfig, netstat, Gpresults.

Hello Robert! I have a question about the Ipconfig command on the PBQ question. Is the NETWORK IPv4 or default gateway?

Hi, studying via UK based company who provide pretty much all the learning media via presentations, books and practice tests etc, however I am glad I found this site as a lot of the questions on the exam were on here and also appeared to be more in tune with the actual test questions .At least two of the PBQ's were from here also, a great help. On to the next exam !!!

I am just leaving the Exam room now, and I would like to confess, i "murdered" the ISH and honestly these practice questions helped me a lot, not only because most of them were on the actual exam but i was also able to adapt to the way comptia asks questions and what kind of answers they expect. To anyone yet to write, Just beware of some wrong answers given on this site. If you have doubts about any given answer, do your research and also use your study material to confirm, and some questions just need rational thinking.

Passed core 2 today with 753 score. About 65-70% of these questions were on the exam so understand the CompTIA concepts behind these questions. I had 3 PBQs. 1st was to format Disk 1 as a dynamic disk with 256,000 and 512,000 partitions, this question can be found. The help desk question gives 2 issues, one a yellow triangle appears on taskbar and client cannot access her resources folder.. answer hint logo is IP address related, she has wifi and no LAN. I said she needed to remap the shared driver. 2nd HD question is a client cannot access external website. In log notice that there is a spelling error in the URL she entered compared to the website, so it is URL spelling related. The other was to repair win 10 that won't boot. Select recovery repair, auto option is not enabled, go to cmd and enter bootrec /mbr or bootrec /fixboot.

I passed the exam 2 weeks ago. Very helpful to me this website. Almost all questions were here. But be aware, there are wrong answers among them. So when you see the answer here, use your brain as much as possible and see the discussion as well.

After all, it’s our great community that illuminates the material and helps build something great.

What should you know before studying the 220-1002?

Every exam and certification has different requirements. If this is a serious venture, make sure to read the prerequisites before preceding. Nothing is worse than wasting months studying for an exam you can’t take or passing an exam that won’t help you get a certification! Our easy search tools are designed to help you find relevant information as well and search for a variety of different exams.

What is the 220-1002 focused on?

The 220-1002 or as it’s also known, the CompTIA A+ Certification Exam: Core 2, like all tests, there is a bit of freedom on CompTIA's part to exam an array of subjects. That means knowing the majority of 220-1002 content is required because they test randomly on the many subjects available. Be aware too that experience requirements often exist because they’ve observed the average person and what is required. You can always push past that to succeed with the 220-1002 but it may take some extra work.

Rome wasn’t built in a day

Remember that incredible things take time. And just like ancient monuments took years of effort, certification is not easy. It is not always quick either. But it is worth it! Our toolset allows you to engage with an incredible community of expert tech workers and add to the conversation at ExamTopics. If you have questions, don’t forget to leave a comment and reach out. It’s here that you’ll get personalized help unheard of on test prep sites, without the outrageous fees.

Always check the foundation

Some certifications have requirements going back to older exams, while others use two or more tests to help someone pass. If you find the 220-1002 is over your head, that’s ok. It might make sense to see if a lower level exam will give you some clarity.

If offered, read the exam objectives

The exam objectives are different for every single exam and usually provided by the certification provider. These normally tell the test taker what subjects are relevant, what they need to know, and why the exam seeks to cover these topics. It’s important to find them out for your specific exam. This can be found on nearly every vendor website and greatly informs the way you’ll study! Don’t worry though, we have taken those objectives into account and seek to create a testing experience comparable to an actual exam.

Remember that certification is quite rewarding

It can be hard to keep your focus on studying but remember that the best jobs in the world are only a few tests away. Whether you enter Cyber Security or do entry level tech work, certification is a clear, learnable, and rewarding path to careers that pay a LOT of money. They offer better work-life balance and you’ll get in with some of the major leaders in the business world. So don’t give up, it is worth it, and all this work will pay off!

Using ExamTopics

Practicing for an exam like the 220-1002 can be a full-time job. In fact some exams are actually paid for by work because they are so intensive. Certification is not simple and takes immense work. It takes time, practice, and the right focus. We here at ExamTopics understand that. We understand that because we have been in this industry for years and working in space full of less savory test prep sources. These terrible prep sources pushed our team to make a positive change in the Exam space. We got sick and tired of seeing potential exam candidates get price-gouged over CCNA braindumps. We couldn’t handle knowing that hard workers from across the world, seeking new skills and a better life, get tricked into paying absurd amounts for low-quality exam materials. Often material that was out of date or at best, available online through community sites without hurting the wallet. And it had to stop. You are ready to jump in!

That’s it, the next page will be full of practice questions. Challenging material. And best of all, a chance to hone your skills. It’s ok if you feel in over your head. We all did at some point, this next step is about pushing through that fear and getting ready to tackle something as challenging as the 220-1002. If you get stuck, reach out. If you see others stuck, help them. And as always, like we love to say, work smarter NOT harder!
