I suppose answer should be: On the source switch 1. create destination VLAN for RSPAN 2. monitor session 1 source (int or VLAN) direct rx | tx | both 3. monitor session 1 destination remote vlan On the destination switch: 1. create VLAN for RSPAN (source) 2. monitor session 1 source remote vlan 3. monitor session 1 destination int | VLAN

I agree with 2 and 3 for each, but why should 1. be that way around and not as below?
