CE is the answer. PVST+ is the deault for cisco

PVST+ is the default on cisco. You'll likely never see PVST in action. Two things essentially differentialte PVST from PVST+ 1 - PVST+ runs an extra instance without a vlan tag thus providing backwards compatibility with the IEEE802.1 standard implementetation. 2 - PVST only supports ISL trunking.

Why is B not E? PVST+—This spanning-tree mode is based on the IEEE 802.1D standard and Cisco proprietary extensions. It is the default spanning-tree mode used on all Ethernet port-based VLANs.
