With the configuration shown, answer B will appear IF Gig1/0/1 is in a down state. In this question, Gig1/0/1 must be in an "up, line protocol is up (connected)" state, making A the correct answer. I verified the both results in a test lab environment.
Although the interface is configured in trunk mode and the correct explanation, the right answer is B. See the example below using a Catalyst 3550:
