Answer is C Outage Impact of a CIMC Firmware Upgrade When you upgrade the firmware for a CIMC in a server, you impact only the CIMC and internal processes. Youdonotinterrupt server traffic. This firmware upgrade causes the following outage impacts and disruptions to the CIMC: • Any activities being performed on the server through the KVM console and vMedia are interrupted. • Any monitoring or IPMI polling is interrupted.

Selected Answer: C
Another vote for C. KVM sessions always get reset when CIMC is upgraded. As for the answer B - UCS Manager - nowhere in the question is this mentioned. It only talks about UCS Servers. CIMS is an independent operating system.

Selected Answer: C
Although the procedure to update the firmware version using Linux, EFI, or KVM is the same, be aware that when you activate the new firmware version, the connection to the CIMC is reset, and the KVM window will close

If you are using KVM to login to the Linux server or the EFI shell to update the firmware version of CIMC, when you run the activate command, the connection to CIMC is reset. As a result, the network connection is interrupted and the KVM window closes. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/c/sw/fwp/user/guide/Firmware_Upgrade_Utility/Using.html answer should be C I guess
