For the Cisco Nexus 5000 Series Switch, the essential characteristics to consider for the given scenario are: The types of interfaces that can be used as SPAN source ports (Ethernet, FC, vFC, port channel, SAN port channel). The requirement that a SPAN source port cannot be a destination SPAN port to prevent conflicts and ensure proper traffic capture. These considerations make options B and C more universally applicable and critical for configuring SPAN on Cisco Nexus 5000 Series switches.

While it's true that SPAN source ports can be monitored in multiple SPAN sessions on many Cisco platforms, it is not always possible on all platforms or configurations. Some switches, like the Nexus 5000 series, may have limitations on how many SPAN sessions a single source port can be part of, especially depending on the hardware and software version.

Exactly. Link above is for 9K. SPAN config guide for 5K specifically says "cannot be monitored in multiple sessions" and question reads "Nexus 5000" https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/configuration/guide/cli/CLIConfigurationGuide/Span.html
