Selected Answer: B
It is B (9 year UCS admin here) As others have mentioned, Intersight Managed Mode (IMM) completely removes UCSM from the system. They are looking to stay in UMM. https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/unified_computing/ucs/ucs-manager/GUI-User-Guides/Admin-Management/3-2/b_Cisco_UCS_Admin_Mgmt_Guide_3_2/b_Cisco_UCS_Admin_Mgmt_Guide_3_2_chapter_010000.html#task_msq_4kh_5y In the Navigation pane, click Admin. Expand All > Device Connector. <Snip> Configures Access mode settings. Access Mode—Configure access as Read-only or Allow Control. Read-only—When the Read-only access mode is selected, you cannot configure the device through Intersight. Allow Control—When the Allow Control access mode is selected, you have full control to configure the device through Intersight.

Selected Answer: B
I don't think B is fully correct, but it's the one closest to the requirements. When we claim a UCSM Managed Mode system on Intersight, we can do some operations, but not all of them. Intersight Managed Mode (IMM) wouldn't allow us to manage UCS using UCS Manager at all (since we wouldn't even have UCSM running on the FIs) - so D is incorrect. Selected Answer: D
If you are using Device Connector in UCSM, you have two options: read only and allow control. After that you claims device id stuff in Intersight and UCS becomes UCS Intersight Managed Mode. There are no such option in intersight as ucs managed mode. You just disconnects ucsm from Intersight. So i choose D, most logical answer

C and D are wrong, on intersight managed mode UCSM wont be available on the domain, the question states that can be controlled on intersight AND UCSM so the correct answer is B

On the below video, we can see that the Device Connector is configured on UCS Manager and that the Access Mode is being set to "Allow Control". Based on this, I believe the answer should be (D). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7gXnMQ8Iqw

C should be right Device Connector Device connector connects Cisco UCS Manager to Cisco Intersight, the cloud-hosted server management system. It enables Cisco UCS Manager to be managed and monitored through Cisco Intersight. To register a device with Cisco Intersight in the cloud, you must do the following: Connect Cisco UCS Manager with Cisco Intersight by configuring the device connector proxy settings, if they are required. Use the device serial number and security code to validate your access to the device from Cisco Intersight and claim the device.
