Not D because only updating the web plugins and not other plugins won’t help as much as patching the scanner? So you should patch the scanner prior to every scan? At my old job we always made sure we had the latest plugins prior to scanning.

encourage organizations to plan for Microsoft Windows reboots every 30 days as a part of their change management practices. And most importantly, apply the patches before the scheduled reboots on desktops, servers, and even in the cloud.
