HTTPS uses port 443. HTTPS uses SSL for encryption.

If you use Http over Tls port number 80 you have to know that your are using Unsecure protocol/ dtat in clear. However, if use Http over SSL you have to know that you are using https which is a secured way of web activities. Https uses port 443 over s a secure socket layer ( SSL)
