C. Containerization would be the best implementation to prevent the issue from reoccurring. By containerizing the web application and its dependencies, the third-party libraries would be isolated from other applications, making it impossible for a developer to accidentally upload a newer version of the libraries that are shared among several applications. This approach would also enable the organization to manage the web application and its dependencies independently, which would minimize the risk of unintentional changes. CASB and SWG are security solutions that can help secure cloud applications and web traffic, respectively. Automated failover is a disaster recovery strategy that involves automatically switching to a secondary system if the primary system fails. While these solutions may be useful in their respective areas, they are not directly related to preventing the issue of a developer accidentally uploading a newer version of third-party libraries.

Answer is B why? What is a secure web gateway? A secure web gateway is a security solution that prevents unsecured traffic from entering an internal network of an organization. It is used by enterprises to protect their employees and users from accessing and being infected by malicious Web traffic, websites, viruses and malware. It also ensures the implementation and compliance of the organization's regulatory policy.

C) Containerization: This is the best pricatice which could prevent such outrages from happening. In this case the newly added libraries and software are not known what they can do , the best way is to use them in a isolated place in the same operatig system and this process is called as containerization. It is just like the sandbox where the inknown software is run in the place where it cannot interfere with the critical resources of the opearting system. Given scenerio is simple. It happened due to the the execuation of the newly uploaded libraries in the operating system simply without any protection. While running these new libraries ran on the bare operating system , all the resources were exposed. Now there must be a way which could run these libararies in such an environment where the new libraries are given limited resources to run on and in a closes environment on same operating system.

I am guessing this Containerization has got nothing to do with MDM, but rather Docker Containers.

I found this https://www.buildableworks.com/blog/how-to-succeed-or-fail-with-docker Which leads me to believe the answer is correct. C Containerization. Anyone finding something different?

A cloud access security broker (CASB) is on-premises or cloud-based software that sits between a cloud service consumer and a cloud service provider. It serves as a tool for enforcing an organization's security policies through risk identification and regulation compliance whenever its cloud-residing data is accessed.

Application containerization is an OS-level virtualization method used to deploy and run distributed applications without launching an entire virtual machine (VM) for each app. https://searchitoperations.techtarget.com/definition/application-containerization-app-containerization So C is the best answer considering that the question stated they have several applications.
