It says 3389 is restricted which is RDP but command line is available. The answer is NOT RDP ... It would be one of the command line options. SSH is the best option.

But vendor is not an employee and it says that 3389 is restricted to employees. So RDP it is for the vendor.

Restricted to employees implies the employees can use it. Restricted for Employees implies the employees can't use it.

Venders are not employees and command line are not allowed for non- employees, so RDP is the best answer.

Can't be RDP, the port for it is blocked. It would have to be either Telnet or SSH, with SSH being the better option.

RDP provides network access for a remote user over an encrypted channel and vendor requires remote access not the employees.

You can start an SSH session in your command prompt by executing ssh user@machine and you will be prompted to enter your password. You can create a Windows Terminal profile that does this on startup by adding the commandline setting to a profile in your settings.May 19, 2020 https://docs.microsoft.com › tutorials Tutorial: SSH in Windows Terminal - Microsoft Docs
