I don't know why they are playing a language game. This is supposed to be an IT exam, not a language exam. The user already authenticated, now he/she wants to open a new app and was not prompted for authentication. This is an example of single sign-on Ans Single Sign-on

In my understanding Permission inheritance is for the folder and sub-folders and SSO for the OS, systems, programs and applications. My answer is Single sign on.

Permission inheritance doesn't really fit the question. Single-sign on deals with not requiring multiple authentications across systems/applications, as the question asks/presents
