Are these the specifications of the Virtual machine or the Host machine? after re-reading it I guess it would be the Host machine but they should specify...

Does windows not only take about 8 gigs of storage? why is more storage *needed*

I guess, it is because the VM could not be installed due to insufficient disk spaces.
