Answer is C; nslookup. Ping and Tracert are to determine issues if you can't connect to the website. It stated that he could connect to the website but the page couldn't display meaning there must be an issue with the DNS mapping which is shown by nslookup.

I agree C. nslookup is correct. It's a DNS issue with that specific website. nslookup - Command-line program in Windows used to determine exactly what information the DNS server is providing about a specific host name.

But the error is "when attempting to access a diffrent website". Why would we assume it refers to the same website? This comptia dumb wording suggest that some websites are ok and some are not - so we have to focus on "external" rather than "internal" source of problem...

Honestly this question is kinda dumb but I think its b/c nslookup because of the wording of the question. I understand why someone would think its tracert but Comptia has specific wording for a reason.

Don't agree with this one, and the reference redirects to Active Directory related troubleshooting which is mentioned nowhere in the question. I thought we were meant to always Ping first, and for a 'Best' solution Tracert?
