If the hard drive is not recognized, the system cannot find a device to boot from. This would typically result in a message like B. No boot device available. Option C, “Operating system not found”, might be displayed if the hard drive was recognized but the operating system could not be loaded, which is not the case here. Because the hard drive is not recognized. If the the hard drive was recognized and it still doesn’t boot, then the answer would be C.
