IMO : Open the Case entity main form. In the control area, select "Add Control." Select the area where you want to place the search control. On the "Insert" tab, select "Knowledge Base Search." In the "Set Properties" dialog box, on the "Display" tab, specify the field for filter data, knowledge base suggestions, and ratings.

1. Open the form 2. Go to KB Section 3. Add Control 4. Change Properties It doesn’t make sense to go to General Tab without open any form…

you need first to activate the entity for kb: "and the Phone call main form." default not active that's why you cannot add the control to the phone call record. add control, take a breath, ... no we skp that as the focus is on first activating kb control the answer given in the solution is correct.

This entity level setting is setup from the Properties setting on the entity, there is no General tab when defining this property.
